A cat pet door is a small pet door or flap. Naturally, since it’s designed for the smaller frame of a cat, it works just as well with puppies and exceptionally small dogs. And, since the openings are generally smaller than 7″ each way, ambulatory babies are unlikely to find them an escape hatch.
